Free Knitting Pattern - Flower Scarf

Autumn is past, and the winter is coming.  Yarn stalls always attract a lot of young girl and almost everyone find knitting more enjoyable than crochet.


They favourite pattern is flower knitting pattern. It is very easy to knit a scarf or a hat.


Follow the instructions below to help you to make hand-knit gifts for relatives

Color Blue: Cast on 31 stitches (or other multiple of 6 stitches +1) and work in star stitch till desired length.

Row 1 Color Pink:  (RS): Slip 1 *A 5, Slip 1, repeat from*

Row 2 Color Pink : Slip 1, * B , Slip 1, repeat from*

Row 3 + 4 Color Aqua :  Knit all stitches.

Row 5 Color Pink: Slip 4 , * A 5, Slip 1, repeat from*,... Last slip 4

Row 6 Color Pink: Slip 4, * B , Slip 1, repeat from*,... Last Slip 4.

Row 7+ 8 Color Aqua: Knit all stitches

Repeat these 8 rows.

Notes:

-Vary yarn and needle size to get the fabric you want.

-When deciding how many stitches to cast on for the width you want, keep in mind that scarves tend to stretch lengthwise and thus become narrower when worn.

-This stitch is not reversible; there is a right side and wrong side.

Abbreviations:

A: knit to last stitch wrapping yarn tiwice around needle for each stitch

B: Pass next 5 stitches to right-hand needle dropping extra loops, pass these 5 stitches back to left- hand needle, k1, p1, k1, p1, k1 through 5 stitches tog
